break job

My car needs new brakes this summer when i put it back on the road. is a 91 rs, and i was wondering what was a good break to put on for the money. I drive kinda hard on breaks, i want one that will perform, but one that will last at the same time and i was wondeirng what togo with

All I can say is don't go with the cheapest thing the parts store might try to sell you. They'll likely squeek a lot and leave a lot of brake dust.

dude, ks91z28 is right on the money with that one. i bought an el cheapo set of brake pads for my car (18 bucks) and ive had nothing but squealing and tons of brake dust just days later. if you buy the cheap ones you will end up later buying more expensive ones and then have to do the job a second time, so just do it right the first time. i would think raybestos would be the way to go personally.

I have always used the Autozone brake pads with the lifetime warrenty. Never had any problems with dust or squealing.
