Lowered?

Is there any way to tell if my '88 convertible has been lowered? From looking at a lot of the pics on this forum it almost seems like a PO may have messed with it...

Re: Lowered?

Not really. You can visually inspect the springs to see if they've been changed, but you wont be able to see if they're stock springs that have been heated up, or cut, or taken a compressed set from being strapped together with spring clamps.

Re: Lowered?

Thanks for the response, that's what I was afraid of. If it has been lowered I would rather have the factory stance restored.
