9 Bolt and 10 Bolt brakes and rotors the same?

Just like the topic says are 9 Bolt and 10 Bolt brakes and rotors the same? I have a 88 9 bolt that I am upgrading to the 89up specs. I know the 88 is different than the 89 up so what I need to know is if the 89 10 bolt and 9 bolt have the same brake setup. I already have the backing plates BTW.

Also to get the axles out of the 9 bolt do I just have to unbolt the backing plates and the axles will just slide out or is there more to it than that?

The rotors and calipers are the same. I have both now sitting out in my shed.

Yes just unbolt and pull the axles. They are held in similar to a ford 9"
