Best things to do for eliminating creaks Vert and T-Tops?
I've got a convertible 89. I am assuming that the T-Top folks might be in the same boat as well.
I've tightened up all the frame, body bolts, and braces I can find. I've changed the shocks and towers. Replaced sway bar stuff.
I have not changed the lower control arm bushings which looked ok but are old.
I've added Spohn SFCs (big difference)
But the car still creaks a bit entering/exiting a driveway.
I'd like to know if there are any other things I can do that would give good results.
I do not have a tower/firewall brace. Looks like an easy add but not sure if it really would help with that purpose.

Do you still have the door wedges installed? They help a lot

I would think a strut tower brace would be the next move, with the SFCs and door wedges in place.

Yeah. That's what I'm thinking They're a pain when working on an engine though. I don't see any that bolt to the strut mount studs.
I'll try to thread the engine bay and firewall mounting holes. It's worth a go.

I have a BMR 3-point brace on my GTA. Most of the time I can work around it pretty easily. If I need to work on the engine where the extra braces are, I normally remove the bolts attaching them to the main brace and just swing them out of the way so they sit up against the firewall and are out of the way.
