Suggestions and advice?

Hello everyone, I'm still kind of new here though I've been lurking around a bunch of threads for years. I currently have two t/a's, I bought my white one a while back with plans to rebuild but found it to be in allot worse shape then expected, so I recently bought a maroon gta with low mileage and I love it. Now I have the bug and am starting to plan my build for it. I will take pics as I go, I'm going to swap out the sbc for an ls and do a complete suspension and break upgrade to suite. Which leads me to why I'm posting in this subforum, I've been looking around and I haven't seen any post on how to raise the car. I would like to get the best performance possible at factory height, I know lowered would be best but I like the look of the cars with 18s-20s at most with factory ride height or like a inch or so above that, nothing to crazy not wanting a monster bird but I just like that ride height. So if anyone has any suggestions I'm listening, on a side note about wheels, I was reading the forum about hawks 17 inch mesh wheels so I decided to email them about the 18 inch versions, I'll give them a follow up call tomorrow and post back with any info I receive. Thanks for reading this and I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Moog iroc replacement springs will raise the car a bit, best "cheap" way to do it. If your old springs are saggy and worn out, it might raise it a couple inches.

There are companies out there that will wind you a spring...you'll probably pay a little more. A buddy had to have one done for his crown Vic. Throw some Kimi shocks with it and that should fill the bill.

Re: Suggestions and advice?

Those suggestions you guys have are performance oriented? Also ryan at hawks replied about the 18" gta mesh wheels and said they should be ready in the next 6 months

The Moog springs I listed are pretty stiff so you can consider them more "performance" orientated.

Other option would be weight jacks, they cost more but ate adjustable so you can put the car where you want it. Then later down the road you can lower it too if you want to. Spring rate is up to you in that application, many choices are available
