Ford 9 inch and bmr torque arm

Car: 1991 camaro z28 convertible
Engine: 5.0 v8
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt 3.23 borg worner
Ford 9 inch and bmr torque arm

So I’m almost finished with the ford 9 inch install, the rear is from trick chassis and I got an adjustable torque arm from umi, the problem is wich ever way I try to bolt it down the mounting bracket on the torque hits the rear.. has anyone ever used this combo? Or have any ideas on what to do

Some 9" Ford castings require clearance for of the case ribs to fit the torque arm.

well the mount on the torque arm has 4 bolt holes, And the pictures in the instructions use the 2 bolt holes closest the passenger side when I try to mount it on the support of the rear the mount in the torque arm hits one of the bolts for the support, if I use the 2 closets to the driver side then it hits the center section of the rear

Got it, had to grind down some of the bracket for the torque arm and everything fell into place
