Engine: 350 tpi
Transmission: 6spd-t56 swap
Axle/Gears: 3.42
98 ta rear springs
Hi I've looked around but can't find out if I can use 98 Trans am rear springs on a 1984 firebird that we're doing a V8 changeover

Yes they will fit and work.
However they are still just 20-yr-old wore-out sagging stock springs; not common-sensical to re-use such a thing, as cheeeeeeep as new ones are.

Actually they were removed from my 98 14yrs ago when I lowered it with stranos.in any case springs are not that expensive.do u suggest I change them anyways as we're doing a V8 changeover and these are 34yrs old but the car has been sitting for 25yrs.

It's AMAZING what changing springs out does for the ride. Yes I'd recommend changing them. Especially as eeeeeezy as they are, and even more especially since you'll be changing out the shocks that now are certainly only acoupla pounds of dead weight after sitting that long... allow old springs to fall out, pick up new springs instead of old while reinstalling.
