Hey guys,
I put in new rear shocks today and now my t-tops are squeaking as I go down the road. It's a little ominous, I think it might be the unibody flexing around glass panels. My front shocks aren't anything to write home about though. Anyone ever experience this?

When I installed KYB Gas-A-Just's in my 1988 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, the rear rear end creaked and groaned, because the shocks were too damn stiff! KYB exchanged them for GR2's (IIRC) under warrANTY, WHICH SOLVED THE PROBLEM. Are your r shocks too firm?
I am using those exact KYB GasAdjust shocks actually, and they are very stiff. Maybe that's my problem, thanks

I can tell you, the unibody structure in my 88 Lincoln is much stiffer than 3Gen F's, yet the KYB Gas-A-Justs, were transmitting WAY too much force to it's SHOCK MOUNTS, causing creaks, rattles and groans. Oh, it cornered flat! But felt like time would surely weaken it's structure. OFF they came!
Years earlier, I put a set of Gas-A -Justs, on my buddies 1973 Corvette Coupe, Months later I found out he had them replaced, stating they were beating up the Vette and his passengers.
