Re: Adjustable Panhard Rod Relocation Kit

Someone else should probably confirm this before you take it as gospel, but if I remember right you want the panhard rod to be parallel to the ground when fully adjusted and at ride height.

Re: Adjustable Panhard Rod Relocation Kit

I would suggest a very slight angle at ride height, so that with a little compression it is then parallel.

Bolt hole placement is found by the seat of your pants, not your head. Each car is different, and rear springs have a strong relationship. The lower you go with the PHB, the stronger the spring needed (then smaller sway bar as well).
Go slow - small increments. This is a terrific mod to do, and you will learn a lot along the way.

Are you talking about a "kit" that lowers it on both sides, just the passenger side or just the driver's side?
Unless you are at OE ride height with newish rear springs the bracket that only lowers the passenger side is usually detrimental to performance since you end up with that side being too low. The driver's side is usually used if you have a low riding car. Both sides are used when you get heavy into cornering performance and/or you have a lowered car in conjunction with using the passenger side lowering mount to gain exhaust clearance.

Here is my car, lowered and with the passenger side Panhard bar mount lowered to gain exhaust room.

Here it is sitting where it should be after making my own driver's side bracket.
