I was quoted $140 for all of that. Sound fair to you? The LCA Relocation Brackets are weld-ons. Thanks!
See what they would charge just to weld up the relocation brackets. The rest you can easily do by yourself. That shouldn't cost very much at all.

He said $125 for the Relocation Bracket install.
- I dont really trust my jack, and dont have easy access to a lift. I dont really want to be that far up under my car without a jack I trust.

I think I'd check around. It does seem to be that hard of a weld job, but I really don't know. Also, when you check some where else just ask about the Relocation brackets. That way they quote low for the one job. The other guy probably said 125 so it would seem that 140 was a good price for all of it. IMO
If you want to save a lot of money in the long run, I suggest a complete set of jack stands. They are not that expensive. Mine have saved me so much money that I can't even remember!

We've got those at the house too. Maybe I'm just scared to lift my far up from a jack that has a 2" lift pad up that high to get the jack stands under the frame. I dunno. I'll have to check it out more. Thanks for the help. I'm going to call another place around here to see what they can do for me.

I had my LCA relocater brackets installed by a muffler shop down the street and they only charged me $15. This place is full of hot rodders and won't turn away small jobs like this either. The guy even asked me where I got the brackets so he could get some for his '83 Camaro.
