Our torque arms mount to our supplied transmission crossmember, not to the transmission. Check out our website.

I'm planning to build a low 12/high11 sec car and would like to use the stock rear for some time with gears and a mini-spool. I have figured out that the "Torque Arm Suspension" was/is one of my major stumbling blocks...........until I saw your set-up.
I read were a guy is running 10.60's with a "stock" rear as well as others.
This car is a budjet build, as I currently run a Street/Strip 70SS396 Chevelle (12.60's) and wish to keep it as a street car (I'll put the factory buckets and stereo, etc. back in it) So, the decision was made to go with the '85 Camaro over the '72 Chevelle also, sitting in the yard. I think the Camaro will be a better platform for a Strip only car than the Chevelle. While the Chevelle has a full frame, I think once I tie this one together it'll be stiff enough, this uni-body stuff is not what I'm used to. Also, I feel like the Camaro will be a more stable ride on the big end, not to mention the 25 years on advancements built right into it.
I plan to strip the interior, ac/heater, crash bumpers,etc.etc.......How much does your car weigh?
