question about Poly bushings
hey guys. i've been seeing alot of stuff about polyurethane bushings around and was wondering what, if any, kind of performance gain they would give. i understand they flex less, and therefore less body roll. do they make hat much of a difference? thanx

The poly bushings will make a significant difference in the way the car handles. It will be much more responsive and have quicker turn in. If you have a third gen that has never had bushings replaced you need to do it. Lets face it, after 10 years or more, the rubber gets pretty worn out.
yeah its a 90 firebird and it has the stock bushings. i figure it's an easy job that will show immediate "seat of the pants" results. i've heard and seen alot about them and was just wondering if it was worth it. should i do the whole thing, or just the end links? how do they affect body roll?thanx

When I just did the rear of my car a few weeks ago it was a night and day difference. If I had known there was going to be such a difference I would have changed them long ago. The car does not lean as much, the steering even feels more responsive, and the big one for me is that the rear feels very good even when in a turn and over bump. It took me a little bit to get used to my car again.
