Need help - measurements
Need help - measurements
Building a 3rd gen front strut suspension setup for my ‘62 Chevy II. Picked up left/right struts, spindles and rotors (all assembled) from a junkyard. Looking to mock up to start the top strut mounting location but I don’t know any of the angles or dimensions. Top mounting location will be adjustable and from 2*-10* of caster and very little camber adjustments. I need the distance from the center of the top strut bolt (bolt runs through spindle) to the bottom of the strut tower where the strut seats. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Need help - measurements
You need more than those measurements.
You need to head to the wrecking yard, and a tape and scope things out.
I/e for/aft placement of the struts, what type of geometry of a suspension you are running.
I did a similar thing with a T-Bird frontend under a '48 F1, I used the whole frontend, I can tell you just setting up the tophats were super time consuming and would have been better off just getting a AM frontend for it.
Best of luck though, hope your head is harder than mine
