Strut Tower Braces that bolt to Struts
Ive been searching and can't find much. I believe that the UMI STB bolts to the strut mount and doesn't require any drilling. What are other strut braces that mount without any drilling?
Thanks
Thanks

UMI makes theirs that uses 2 of the strut tower bolts & has a 3rd hole that is entirely optional for you to drill to mount it to the strut tower. Mine has been on for several years & I have never drilled the hole for the 3rd mounting bolt to be put in.

I recently purchased and installed the strut tower brace from Mac. It is pretty good quality, could notice a difference and it looks pretty good. Mine is tpi with driverside A/c and it fits real well. It does fit fairly close to the upper intake. Make sure you have some good engine mounts if you go with the MAC STB.

Cool thanks for the info. Are there any bolt on struts that have the style of the hotchkis strut tower brace?

If you mean a 3-pt, ALL 3-pts will have to have holes drilled for the firewall mounting point since there are no holes anywhere along there to use as mounting points.

I meant a STB similiar to BadnBlk's. I like this style below better than the single bar such as the UMI stb.

No, they will require that you drill. What is your hesitation with drilling holes?

That wouldn't fit under a Firebirds hood, due to the lower hood line. Even the UMI one BARELY fits & it has the bottom of the cross bar notched out for the intake plenum.
