I am in need of factory replacement spindles for my 1982 Camaro Z28 and I can’t find them on google anywhere and the local parts companies cannot locate any either. Where could I find replacement spindles? I need both sides. Thanks in advance!
Salvage yard. Other than cars that were 1LE all third gen Camaro and Firebird 82-92 used the same spindle.
I was hoping to get new ones. Is there nowhere that sells new ones?

Nope not to my knowledge. These cars have been out of production for almost 30 years. There are millions sitting in junk yards all over the world. Check ebay you should be able to find some nice ones. Originally Posted by CherryBomb

Next question, what makes you think you need to replace them? They are not a wear item and are quite durable.

I am going to Coilovers in the front and the bolts at the top of the spindle holding the strut to the spindle are so badly seized that not even a torch is getting them out so I am planning on just removing the spindle along with the strut to do my swap.
IF you get a cutting torch or plasma cutter, you will get them off. You have somewhat of a "safety net" on the strut housings stopping the chosen method of cutting through the spindle metal. Also a series of ever larger drill bits would remove the bolt head after a likely LONG drilling process. Don't give up, get stupid motivated and all will be well. Good Luck.
Meh, they will come out.

Cut the head of the bolt with a cut off wheel and knock whats left of the bolt through the other side. You're not keeping the struts so if you hit them with the cut off wheel no loss
