Where to find new dash speaker grilles?
I have a '90 Formula WS6. The car was immaculate when I bought it back in '95 but over the years the sun has done some damage
. I can find most of the parts I need through Year One or Hawks but I can't seem to find new speaker grilles. I called a local Pontiac dealer, he ordered them, then called me the next day and said they were discontinued
. Can anyone help? I need a good restoration place.

No, they dont have them no more. Ive been looking for new ones myself & nobody have them. Ive seen them "nos" on ebay a couple of times, but now that I need them they are nowere to be found. I know a couple of junkyadrs where they have 3rd gens, but I been to lazy to go pick them up so I drive with a busted speaker grill for now.

FYI, the '82-early 83 grills are different than the late 83-92 grills.
First design snaps in, has square corners, and the fins go all the way to the edge. The entire paded dash is different to fit these grills.
Second design is held in with plastic studs and speed nuts, has round corners, and a border around the grill.

I found this place online...http://www.fbodymotorsports.com.
They claim to have anyting for third gen.
I'm leery of used plastic bits such as the speaker grilles because of how brittle they are. Mine appear fine but the plastic studs are broken off. The speed nuts cut their own grooves, thus weakening the stud, eventually they will break if they are unfastened and refastened too many times. Since mine have never been removed, I'm guessing the number of times they get can get removed and replaced before they reach their breaking threshold is a very low number.
