J&M Hotpart vs Founders
This may not be a very technical post but of late I’ve been wondering if they’re the same or different companies. The parts they sell are identical, sometimes the descriptions of the parts are identical, but the contact info and prices are different. Are they just importing chinese-made parts like you see all over eBay, especially with headers? I’m really asking because of QwikTrip’s post comparing 3 different manufacturers’ panhard drop setups. The Founders has the cheapest steel of the kits he concluded and again, J&M sells an exact copy (or is Founders a copy or are they the same parts?) of the Founders kit. It comes down to: does J&M use better materials, hence the higher price? I’ve asked J&M but they’re slow to return with an answer.

Re: J&M Hotpart vs Founders
At this point, after no response from my inquiry over a week ago, I’d say given all the evidence that there is no difference between J&M Hotparts and Founders. You’d think that J&M would be quick to denounce it if there was since they charge the higher price. So buy Founders if you want the more affordable price on the same parts.
