Pitting at stabilizer bar pivot
Fresh coat of tremclad satin on a newly sandblasted WS6 swaybar (‘91 Formula).
some pitting at the pivots, run it as is or sand to smooth?
it’ll get Moog stock replacement bushings

Re: Pitting at stabilizer bar pivot
Yup; normal. Water inevitably gets into there, and it rusts. Even if you got a brand new one, within a few years it would be just like that, if driven in the rain. One winter if driven in salt.
Use the greasable bushings and send it.
IMO rubber bushings are inadequate in these cars. Too much force on the material. the rubber gets pounded out and leaves clearance in there, within only a few miles, and it "clunks". Poly, fit as tight as possible, with grease fittings, is MUCH better for those. Butt hay... we've all got to learn our lesson somehow.

There would be zero noticeable difference sanding them smooth.
