Modified k-member for engine to sit lower?

Im wanting to put a lsa supercharger on my ls swapped iroc but not wanting to sacrifice my iroc hood. Is there a k-member anywhere on the market that offers a lower engine position?

You'll find more adjustment depending on the engine mounts you choose. However, you will be greatly limited by the oil pan. There are a few members who fit an LSA blower and retained the stock hood. LonnyP and LSXMatt come to mind.

Get one of the simpler tubular K-members like Spohn and move the motor mount pads lower. Run a C6 oil pan as it's the lowest wetsump pan available

You can also try the 4th gen trick of shimming the 6 K-member mounts downward. Suspension geometry will take a hit though

A dry-Sump is a way to drop a LS a good 1in lower.
but Oh Boy are those expensive.
Alternatively, you can use a CTS-V LSA lid.
It makes less power than the ZL1 lid, but it's about 3/4in lower.
You could also modify engine mounts and maybe get 1/2in closer to the stock k member.
Tubular k-members I've seen in person seem to have about the same pan to clearance as the stock k-member.

Any one got $5,500 to spare? Asking for a friend.

I had an old spohn K-member which was terrible, but it was easily 2" below a LS1 Fbody oil pan. Much lower than a factory k-member. You could drop the drivetrain that much and still be protected by the main hoop. More drop with a C6 pan or dry sump

I've also ran CTS-V topped LSAs under firebird hoods which are lower than camaros
The CTS-V lid may be the easiest option

Its kinda looking like it would be way cheaper at this point to use a centrifugal setup, the lsa and top mount superchargers look so much cleaner. I think the magnuson heartbeat is a lower setup with a little more hood clearance , i may need to do some research on different systems. The edelbrock eforce is lower as well but I haven’t heard a lot of good stuff about that one, unless its improved over the years.
