If you mean the pinch weld along where the door rocker and the floor meet up? Yes, I did the same thing. I went with the Jegs, but welded the front mounts, and then tacked the sides along the pinch welds. Just used the bolts in the back though.

Thanks for the reply. At the rear, I could only get the one bolt in. That is why I used my mig welder there. But looking at it, I was thinking "should I stitch weld along this seam?"

Re: Bolt on SFC
I think Jegs gave two bolts for the rear? If memory serves; one was for the LCA (lower control arm) and the other was for right below that. The destructions' said something about the drill a hole for the second bolt. But the angle was horrible. So I just used the LCA bolt, and then tacked (in my basic welding skills) along the side to the lower door sill. I am not a skilled welder stich weld is out of my abilites! But if you wanted to stich weld the rear of the connector to the lower control arm mount; I don't see why that would not work?

Re: Bolt on SFC
My old CE out board sfc's are welded at the trailing arm mounts, then stitch welded to the rockers. Then welded to the front subframe. There are also points where the are welded to the floor. I also have a set of Alston inboard sfc that are welded as well. The way a see it, they all should be welded. That way they can fully do the job they're meant to do.
