Will Founders strut mounts interfere with a (Edelbrock) 3 point STB? I have the OEM mounts currently and believe that the strut side STB mounts are up near/flush with the edge of the mounts. I'm at work, car's at home, and I'll forget to ask later...
Yes it will. Well, I can't say 100% for sure that founders won't, but the UMI ones along with some other aftermarket brand I've used (brain fail) have interfered. However, a small relief cut in the bracket will allow it to clear. One day I intent to weld a relief pocket in there but I've felt no performance difference with this relief.

You relief cut into the strut mount, or into the STB brace mount? Not having purchased them yet, it appears that I may be able to get away grinding or cutting on the STB side of the strut mount without thinning too much of it out if that's what you're referring to as relief cut.
Another option I thought was just fabbing a spacer of sorts (in lieu of spacing with washers for height) to go under the STB mount, and then weld the spacer and STB mount together.

Probably overthinking it.
Yes to both, but the cut relief on the strut cap was to clear the Baer master cylinder. I had that welded in. I made a small cut in the STB bracket so the foot of the strut cap could slip underneath it.
I’m probably way too late to the party but I have exactly what you’re asking about and all I can say is, with enough caster, no. If you’re buying these parts you’re most likely interested in handling which means you’re going to be dialing in as much caster as you can which in turn means you won’t have that problem! But if you’re going with factory alignment specs then you very well could.
