KYB front strut mount HELP

Does anyone know if KYB made 2 different strut mount designs?

I ordered part numbers sm5027 and sm5028. The driver's side (sm5027) came in correctly as shown on KYBs website, and installation was easy. However, the passenger side mount looked different than the driver's side. The package did not come with washers (not a big deal, but worth noting). In addition, it is missing the metal ring that surrounds the bearing. I know that the bearing is sealed, but i still went ahead and talked to someone from kyb regarding the difference in design, and the tech told me not to install it if it does not have that ring/ match the pictures on their website of the part.

What gets me is that i have now ordered 4....yes, FOUR replacements from different sellers, and all seem to be missing the metal ring around the bearing. Looking for advice to see what you all would do, or if you have seen or know of a difference in design, or if it even matters, because I've been trying to tie up the front end for about a month now. It is worth noting that the bearing doesn't have any play so i can't see why it would be an issue if I just ran it, but not 100% sure

This line below is what i keep receiving

This link is what is shown on KYBs website and what I have installed on the driver's side.
