hi. new member here. 26 years ago i sold my 88 formula and yesterday i bought a trans am 1985 ws6 package. (dream comes true !!) and i was wondering why there is no suspension performance badge on passenger side dash board ? yes on spid it’s say’s ws6. and 16x8 wheels and bigger sway bar.
if the badge had been removed, it should have 3 small holes on dash. any idea ? thx (my buddy have a 85 trans am without ws6 and he got the badge on the dash)

 

Some reasons…

Dash was replaced with non WS6 version (that doesn’t have badge holes) at some point in the past.
They ran out of those dashes (with the three little holes) on the assembly line back in ‘85.
Early ‘85’s with WS6 did not have the little badge.
Your buddy stole your badge and filled in the three little holes.

I had an '85 WS6, back in the late '80's, with all of the features you listed (wheels, bars, etc) and it didn't have the badge on the dash. Never did.
