Ok, according to the tech articles, the rear rotor part # for the 1LE is 10087702, and it says the same # for regular 89+.. is this correct?? if so i may be able to save some $$ on my rear rotors for my rear disc brake uprade to 89+..

yes the 89+ rear rotors are the same as the 1LE. they are the PBR "12 inch" rotors. more like 11.75"? well anyways they are the same thing.
Also, when you get part's they're referred to as "the 1LE Rear Brakes". Even though your car may not be a 1LE, they originated on the 1LE, so the 88 and earlier discs are the "Non-1LE" and the 89-92 rear discs are the "1LE" brakes.
I found this out the hard way when I ordered pads for my 89 discs. I told them they were off an 89TA, and they asked me if it was a 1LE or not. I said no, got the wrong pads send to me, and had to order the 1LE pads to get the right ones. Same thing with my braided brake lines.
