What is the hp limit of 10 bolt?? How fast have yall gone with stock rear?

Just wondering, no transbrake, no manual..
Who makes a 12 bolt for 3rd gen?

Stephen 87 IROC is or was running a 10 bolt while running elevens but it wasent a stock rear end welded axel tubes and so on but strange and moser make nice 12 bolts for our cars.

Was. Car now has a 9". The times below were all with a 10 bolt.

Even a stock engine can break the tiny 7.5" ring and pinion. The build up I did strengthened the diff but the small ring and pinion is still the weak point no matter how you look at it. Mine never broke but I only ran it for 1 season. This winter I went to a 9", 4.56 gears, spool and a transbrake. I didn't feel the 10 bolt could have taken more than a couple of hits with the transbrake anyway so it was just something I had to do.

At altitude I was putting somewhere from 430-450 hp to the rear wheels with slicks plus with the big block there was a lot of torque. It's not the HP that breaks the diff but torque.

Any of the "bolt-in" 12 bolts or even the bolt-in 9" diffs, complete, will cost you around $2000.
