V6 Suspension, PLease give advice!!!
V6 Suspension, PLease give advice!!!
I want to get some new suspension stuff for my car. How does this sound to you? KYB Gas-a-Just for the rear and the GR-2s for the front. Lowering spindles for the front which give a 2in drop. I thought I might go with Hotchkis Performance Coil Springs. The spindles are $280 for the pair, Shocks and struts and about $155 and the performance coils are $220 for the front and rear. So what do you think? Good or bad combo of things? I do want to lower the car and get much better handling. I am also going to order the LSD from SLP as well. Let me know if this is a good list or what would you all change.

If you save up a little more money you can get the KYB AGX adjustable struts and shocks. Spindles are the way to go with V6's as there aren't many companies that carry V6 springs. I'd also heard that WS6 sway bars would work good on our cars. But before lowering I'd put on poly urethane bushings all around and make sure your steering parts are all functioning properly so you can align your wheels properly.

You can do any suspension component that the V8's can do; so if you find a good V8 combo, go for it! The springs might not lower your car as much as they would for a heavier V8, but I hear they will give a bit of a lower stance.
Thanks for the advice. I have been thinking about it and I am not going with the spindles. I really am not looking to lower the car as mmuch as getting better handling and performance. I am going to go with the shocks and struts and also the coils. Though, should I go with all GR-2 or Gas-a-Justs for the rear and GR-2s for the front. Thanks for the help!
