Stock Suspension, whats first?

I have plans underway this spring, to give my car some much needed power. LT1 cam, heads, intake, 3.42 posi rear, shift kit.

Now I need a suspension to back it up, like I said its stock. I have a strut tower brace on its way, but thats it.

im planning on doing the same thing, im gonna focus on my suspension for the next 6 months, then it is on to the rear end.
Here is my total suspension plan, nothing super fancy, im not trying to build a drag car.

Spohn Sub Frame Connectors ($155)
Edelbrock Strut Tower Brace ($130)
Spohn Lower Control Arms (adjustable-poly), Panhard Bar(same), Relocation Brackets ($320)
Hotchkis Performance Springs ($220)
Koni Gas-a-just Shocks, GR-2 Struts ($160)
PST Front end rebuilt kit and parts ($300)
and possibly IROC front and rear swap bars and wonderbar ($100)

Total off........$1385

that is the plan, SFCs and STB going on this weekend, finally i get a break from school, so that is $285 down, $1100 to go
So hopefully this will be a pretty nice setup

ok, i just reread your post, SFCs are a must, they should be first, then since your are going with 3.42 gears, LT1 cam, etc. go with the lower control arms and relocation brackets. Those should help your traction. If your planning on doing the LT1 cam swap this spring, i say just do those suspension mods along with your STB first, then do the rest later when you have time.

I just resently bought an LT1 cam, but im dont think it will go on until the summer. Tryin to knock the suspension and rear end stuff out first so i dont have to worry about them for a while.

Just wanted to point out that those Shocks and Sturts are NOT Konis, there KYB's. I just got mine into my Z28, them things are great (Though I don't race or anything).

First of all, do a front end kit, bushings, ball joints, center link, and everything else. Then the rear contol arms, a boxed style, as well as a panhard rod. What's the point of trying to improve the rest of the car when the (probably) most worn and neglected part of your car is sloppy
