Rebuilt caliper,and no brakes???

OK heres the deal...My rear passenger side brake caliper was leaking brake fluid really bad,so the car sat for months and now finally i just bought a rebuild kit and rebuilt my caliper. Now its not leaking a single drop.Me and my friend bled the rear brakes and its like i still dont have any brakes. We were gona do the front 2 also but he said lets try it out first and see how it feels so far,and i took it around the block and it was awfull.I could try to lock them up and the car slowly slows down,i practically dont even have brakes it seemed.Like after you pump it a few times the pedal seems a little more stiff at first but it just goes right to the floor every time.

My dad said we should try bleeding the master cylinder, and my friend tried doing it as if we were doing the brakes again,by me pumping the pedal.and him untightening the brake line to the master cylinder.Still i have the same brake problem. You driv a lil bit, step on the brakes and the car barely stopped. Is it possible the master cylinder is burned out or shot or maybe i just need to bleed the master cylinder with a special too?

Please help,im about to blow the car up at this point
