Car rides like *** w/passengers
I just drove to and from a club last week with four girls in my car (Formula, WS6) - the first time I've had more than just one passenger since I had the old stock suspension. Now, with this added weight, the car slammed down over every little bump. I thought we'd all end up with whiplash, it was so bad.
I now have Spohn SFCs (I doubt that has much to do with this, b/c even though they stiffen up the body a bit, they only weigh <40 lbs). I replaced the rear springs with the ones AutoZone had for my car, because my rear used to do a bit too much up-and-down bouncing through dips. The front springs are still stock. I recently replaced struts and shocks (both Gabriels, I know, not the best
).
It never exactly glided along originally, but this seems wrong to me... What do you think is causing the extremely rough ride? The cheap shocks/struts? Did I end up with the wrong rear springs? Please help! Thanks.

I was going to help you, but the most girls I ever had in the car at once was 3. You're on your own.
Just joking; I have no idea what would've caused the rough ride. My guess, tho, is that since you stiffened up the body with the SFC's, there's no more "flex" in the car that helps absorb bumps.

how's your tires??? 15 or 16" rims? if you've got the cash for a suspension overhaul,I would go for it. stock suspension in these cars S**KS! because it's easier to do everything at once, especially in the front,I went all out. I used KYB-GR2 gas struts, strut mounts and shocks, which are the cheapies of the performance selection. I also installed Eibach's pro-kit (1.5" drop),new GM front spring isolators,PST polygraphite front end rebuild kit, hotchkis rear lca's and pan-rod and my favorite...IROC Z 16"x8 wheels w/khumo 245/50/16 z rated tires....also buget items..if you need any tips on installation, let me know my email is spydermonkey55@hotmail.com

It's a Formula, ergo the rims come 16", stock. The tires are new. Do you really think the SFCs make that huge a diff?? If they do, that's OK, my car isn't (usually) for driving around 4 women at once...
