Eight things that Spohn SFCs improved for my car

1. Overall solid feel to car, duh.
2. Doors close better.
3. Less noise of chassis FLEXING.
4. Turns like on rails - and once the car is pointing in the final direction, it doesn't have to "settle" like before...because it's already there, and held in place by welds
5. Seems like less body roll.
6. Greatly diminished tire rubbing when wheel turned to extremes.
7. Better traction during launches.
8. At night, Spohn SFCs whisper softly to me sometimes, telling me to beat all rice with a metal pipe/golf club on sight.

LOL, I like that!! I'm waiting to get my Spohn sub-frame connectors in the mail. Should be here on Tuesday. I've been sort of curious of what to expect from them, thanks for the preview.

Well, fellas, I am pleased to report that my Spohn subframes have expanded their sphere of influence and now speak in short adages. Among the most recent:

Buying a 4-banger anything is a waste.
Cavaliers just pretend.
Man who go to sleep with itchy butt wake up with smelly finger.
Carbs are neanderthal.
Yes, f-bodies attract sketchy women.
Neon rings around subs in fact do not add 50 dB to their output.
No, the addition of a K&N filter will not add the advertised 135 hp.

Please note that these broad generalities are representative in no way of my opinions; these are simply verbatim quotes from my Spohn subframe connectors. Any factory Pavlovian conditioning is solely the work of Spohn Performance.

I've always thought a Cavalier with a small block would be an interesting daily driver.

I don't know, I think a cavalier with a twin turbo v-8 and all wheel drive would be fun...........

(wave bye-bye to the nice drivers license.........)

Oh sure!!!!!!!

I FINALLY make up my mind that yours are the ones I want (mainly cause you're a cool dude for doing the GP that you did) and I find a very experienced welder who will weld them for (4 letter word here) FREE, and now you're gonna be putting them on hold?!?!?!?!?!

Well I guess I've waited 2 yrs, so I can wait another month.

Thanks Steve (and I do mean that in a good way ) The guy that's welding them for me says they look to be a very well-thought-out design. And he's built a few BB/SC Vegas, so he'd know.

BTW Steve,

What happened to all the pics on your web site? IIRC, there used to be a lot more showing the position and design of the SFCs.

AJ

OH!!!!!!

One more thing I forgot to say;

You're also a very cool dude for donating the server to keep this web site alive.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

Off subject (sorry) but I thought I would mention something I read about Cavalier's. Chevy will be producing a WRC (World Rally Champion) version in Europe called the Cavalier WRC ... will feature AWD and a 300+hp twinturbo 4 banger. Not too shabby if u ask me.

f-bodies sure do attract sketchy women!!

this may be more suited for the exaust board, but, maybee someone here can enlighten me....I have hedman headers with the hedmen Y-pipe which is a littte different than the stock y-pipe. it is impossible to relocate or cut this pipe because of the location of the pass side flange. does anyone here have Sphon SFCs w/some aftermarket exaust?

I have all the suspension stuff except for body stiffening,I'm itchin' to get the SFCs,STB,SB and roll cage...I can't wait!

I have the Hedmans also. Check out my thread "Anyone else have Spohn SFCs?" for info about what you'll run into as far as readjusting your y-pipe...
