Fuel Gauge doesnt work

Just replaced my gas tank, and the fuel gauge doesnt work. i dont know what happene. i replaced it exactly as it was. anybody have any suggestions

Check the sendor wires and the ground for them. Make sure there is a good ground.

Alot of guys run into the same thing when they change their tanks or fuel pumps. The sender unit is very delicate. The box in which the end of the float arm goes into is what breaks. It works like a resistor and if one of the thin wires inside breaks then its busted. Did you check your grounds for good connections?

no i didnt get a chance to check the ground...im might sell the damn thing now anyway, im had it for his damn thing. you know anyonw intrestd for a trade in for a 5 speed iroc then gimmie a jingle.
