Tie Rod End, Left Side, What size???

Hey guys, I need to replace my left tie rod end but I don't know what size it is 5/8, 3/4, 1/2?? Can someone please let me know I need to order one from Summit. Thanks

well i don't know what they are asking. but, just get one from the local parts store. there is only one size tie rod for the 3rd gens that i know of.

I lived near SB before...

...like that matters. Here are a couple of part numbers, gleaned from the CSK Auto site, which may help:

Driver Inner ES2227L
Driver Outer ES2226R.

FWIW they are the same from driver side to passenger side. These numbers show up for either McQuay-Norris or TRW. Not sure about Moog. HTH

Outers were about $23 each, with inners running around $27. If you check www.cskauto.com under the "Shop" tab you will see there are brand choices. FWIW I paid about $285 with tax for all four rods, a center link, two sets of tie rod sleeves, the idler arm and a pair of ball joints. HTH.

Should be nice at the coast today, going to Venice in a couple of hours. Enjoy the weekend.
