Road test the car first. But you may need GM part# 14089496 proportioning valve.

Would I be better off just changing the m/c and prop. valve from the 1LE car? I bought the whole car as aparts car and have everything?

you *shouldnt* need the prop valve as long as you were originally equipped with discs. i didnt change mine when i went from 9 bolt to 10 bolt and the brakes are working just fine.
