control arms and panhard
i'm about to purchase some suspension mods and was wondering if anyone has hear of or used parts from BMR fabrication. They are cheaper in price over some other brands but are they comparable in performance. Also, does anyone know where i could find out how many 89 irocs came with aluminum driveshafts. thanks

I believe the their is a link on the homepage for the driveshaft numbers, not sure, in the tech articles it gives the rpo codes for it, get on the history board and search it, or just ask somebody knows.
BTW 1LE cars weren't the only ones with aluminum drive shafts

I have a BMR strut tower brace, and like it. The section that spans the engine is welded nicely without the quick removal bolts that some have. The braces that run from the main section to the firewall have adjusters on them. I have a SPOHN panhard rod and realy like it..although i will be upgrading to the adjustable version soon. Steve has very nice parts and is very active on this board so even if another brand is a couple bucks less, he will get my coin.

Hey Omega,
I've thought of welding one in instead of bolting but that would cause problems if I ever had to perform repairs like taking off the intake or head or something like that. Won't the BMR cause the same problems?

Eh, yes it will up to a point. It is not a quick removal version, but it can easily be unbolted. Its the same principal as the bolt in subframe connectors. If the front end flexes enough it will elongate the bolts and then render the unit useless. It doesn't take that long to remove the 4 bolts by the shock tower so i don't see it as being a big deal. The all in one unit also increases the torsional rigidity since it lacks the 2 removal bolts.
