I just found out that my front rims are bent on my Formula.

Has anybody here ever got the rims repaired and if so was it as good as new?
And I was quoted 100 bucks a rims is the a good price??

sounds about right, but i would just find a set of good used rims to replace em, i dont like straigtened rims, but thats just a personal view.

 

I am not a big fan of fixed rims either. www.aaarims.com have them for $165 a pop. I bought a rim from them recently and think they are pretty good. The colour is not a 100% match but its pretty darn close.

 

If I go with getting them repaired Im gonna get all 4 cleaned up and reclearcoated.
NTB can get the Formula rims for 175.00 each, But then my front rims will look better then the rear and I would end up buying all 4 in a month...........lol

AAA rims also has a "core" option. They give you credit for rims that you ship back to them. Look into that it might drive the cost down a bit.

This site is awsome, it has saved my butt more than once.
