Is it worth it to...

box my stock lower control arms. I was just wondering if i would notice anything by doing this. I have the materials to do it for free. thanks

It helps But most people just replace them. The stock ones are known to flex alot due to the way they were made. They were stamped with some ribbing for strengh but the new aftermarket parts sold are far far better. lakewood sells a cheaper set which you could replace both lca for about 100.00 after shipping costs. they also sell a adjustable pan hard bar for about the same price jegs has them if your looking. summit has the lca only I haven't found a kit with everything in it yet. The new parts have new poly bushings in them so thats also a plus hope this helps

It's cheaper to box them and are close in strength if welded well(but stock bushings still will suck) but as mentioned, the lakewoods are cheap and come with poly bushings
