Wheel size change

how big of a deal is it to switch from 15x7 to 16x8 wheels??
what is necessary to retain my speedo settings?

Going with a stock set of 16x8's, it's just a matter of bolting them on. Speedo problems will depend on the tire size, not the wheel. If you go with 16x8's with a tire size that is the same height as what you have now your speedo will the same.
