IROC Z rear wheel spacer thickness?

What thicknesses are the rear spacers used on the IROC Z with the alloy wheels shown below and rear drum brakes (cast). I am going to fit them on my 1991 RS and haven't yet got the spacers. Where would these be located?

Thanks.
Andy.

The info on the wheel spacers fpr your Alum. Wheels is as follows:
1) spacer thickness is approx. .150 +/- .020
2) GM p/n is 14091902
3) Price is $8.46 US each
4) Source is www.gmpartsdirect.com - Flow Chevolet in N.C. USA.

I hope this information helps you out. I just sold a set of these spacers, tough luck.

These are spacer for the rears when using 16" Alum wheels with
cast steel brake drums " ONLY". Not when you have Cast ALUM DRUMS, GM wanted to maintain the same spacing with the two
different materials. I hope this explains their use.

Should these spacers be used with aftermarket wheels or is it personal preference?

I have two IROC's, an 85 and a 86. Both originally cam with alum. drums and wheel spacers. I also have a 91RS with factory 16" alum wheels and steel drums with spacers. Go figure.

You really don't 'need' them. I don't want mine to stick out any further. They look correct to me.

As a reply on weather to use the drum brake spacers, all I can say its up to you because its "No big deal not using them" its your choice. But GM used them for a reason.

So I'd just need these spacers for the rear right?

Two spacers (.150 thick) for the rear only, with cast steel brake drums.

Do I need any spacers for the fronts? Or was it just the rear that needed them?

Actually you don't need then at all but it doesn't hurt to use them either.

Hg, bolt them on and see what you think. If for some reason you want them to stick out .15 more, then get some spacers. A .15 spacer is a waste IMO. A little more than 1/8 inch.
