rear coil springs (early thirdgens vs later thirdgens)
I have an 82 Z28 that has the original rear coils that are quite stiff. I rode in and 87 IROC that was much smoother. I've noticed that the later thirdgens have rear coils that have a larger coil diameter and a smaller wire size. I'm contemplating putting rear coils off of a 92 Z28 on my 82. Will I notice much difference?
Thanks,
Ken

Really the only way to find out is to try them. Fortunately the rear springs are cake to change. They usually fall out when you unbolt the shocks.
