I have a 1985 IROC Z Camaro with a 305 TPI engine. I am wondering what kinda results I will get with subframe connectors. Will they improve my handling and ride.... Tell me a little bit about them. And what are the best kinds to get.

I live in Calgary, too. I've been hoping to get a set of sf connectors done and the best price I've found is at a place called Trail Master in the NE. I haven't managed to get down there yet but they tell me they can even fabricate a set for me from tubular steel stock and they only want about $100 for the install. So it might only be around $300 total, but maybe more.

Anyway, give them a call and see what they can do for you. Ask for Ron and let me know what happens.

 

I have an 85' too. I welded SSM subframes in the car. It rides nicer and is alot more solid. You can jack the car up anywhere and it is so stiff ive seen 3 wheels come off the ground when I jacked it up.

It is a must for anyone that wants more power.
