Hello. Yesterday I got fed up with the low pedal that I've been experiencing so me and a friend bled the system. After bleeding the front brakes (2 man method) push pedal open bleeder slowly push pedal down... close bleeder.... wait..... repeat... Pedal has almost NO pressure now. :hail: When we did the backs I noticed the back right break line was old.. So I was thinking this might have been the problem.. Replaced it and bled the whole system. Still no help. When the brakes are pressed if I look in the master cylinder res. I can see a big squirt come out of the front brakes.. But close to nothing from the rear half of the reserve.. (is this normal?) Should we try the master cylinder next? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pedal goes about 1/2 inch from the floor before it slows the car.. Front lines are all new,
When I had the car jacked up with the e-brake on i couldn't move the rear tires at all..

Did you make sure your fittings were tightened back up? I used the snap-on compressed air bleeder deal. Kick a$$! Unfortunately for me I didn't properly tighten one of the bleeders. I had virtually no pedal so I had to redo the bleeding.
Bleeding using the pedal method can take a long time to accomplish. I've gone as many as twenty pedal presses before I got more air out of the system.
If you don't want to deal with it you should probably take it to a brake shop. Tell them to flush your brake system.
