ok.. there's a group dyno run coming up may4.. it's a reduced price and you get 3 pulls and a print out of the best pull..
what would you try on the 3 pulls?? they give you time to play with timing and stuff in between.. my engine currently has 1600km's on it.. it's still new but broken in..
some of the things are
edelbrock 3704 intake
edelbrock 3702 cam
edelbrock 6085 heads
edelbrock headers
edelbrock custom chip
14x4 k&n non drop base
1" t&t tbi spacer
high flow cat
3" exhaust dump infront of cat

I'm currently using the custom chip that edelbrock sent me to go with the combo of parts that I'm running..
now what can I do with burning my own chips? and who do I talk to to learn how to make em??
I have a whole bunch of 27c256 chips.. can I use those?? some of them have the clear glass on them and apparently can be erased with a uv light and resued..

Try that link. It's one of the things that got me started tuning the prom.
I'm not sure about the chips working or not.
The window is for a UV eraser.
What computor are you using on your vehicle?
As far as what you can do burning your own chips you can change the fuel maps, timing, idle speed....lots of stuff...It's kewl

ok well the dyno is this sat .. I don't have the stuff to start burning proms but I'm using edelbrock's chip... should I keep running 94 octaine? or should I run 87??? I never tried anything lower than 92 since the new engine and edelbrock prom.
and I need some good advice to get the best out of these 3 pulls.. should I put more timing in to it.. leave it the way it is now for the first pull? should I try one with open exhaust?? I have the cut-out infront of the cat.. just 3 wing nuts and it's off!
someone must have some good pointers so I can get the best out of this?
thanks..

I don't know about getting the most from it but I'd want it to be set up like I drive it in the real world as close as possible.....but that's me.

First run I would make it like you drive it every day. From there timing might be something to look into. Another thing would remove the air cleaner. I would also try opening up the exhaust. That never hurts. And when at the track remember that the heigth of the tire can affect the rear end gear. Tall tire, lower gears. Short tire high gears. Just some ideas, but then again what do I know.
