question, checking out intake at www.turbocity.com for chevy trucks. wanna build something like this for my cowl hood. using open element right now, it sounds cool but it's too damn hot under the hood and it kills performance (especially top end). anybody ever used or made something like this, for cowl induction? the tbi unit looks nice but i would like seal it more from the engine heat( maybe a filter right up in the cowl. the cowl actually seems to suck a lot of air(definitely sucks the dust and pollen off my windshield) in and would like to reap the benefits from it. any input appreciated. thanks
