Well it so happens that my old crappy ecm caused my fan motor burnout which cracked my bracket and melted my connectors and
my fan switch shorted. Do I need a new harness as well?
This is crazy. I replaced my ecm today, it wouldn't turn over at first
then after a 2 minutes I started fine so that's taken care of but I sense I might need a new prom soon. So what should I do?

i woudl go to a junk yard and grab another fan and connector, they are cheap enough. try to get a good length of wire withthe connector, then just cut teh existing harness back past where it shorted and wire in the new stuff.
