Upgrades for 305 TBI
best place to start is the tech articles. there are several very cheap and very simple mods that can be done to gain a bit of power. look at teh ultimate tbi 1&2, DIY AFPR, and if you have an auto the ALDL convertor lock up.
the best thing to do as the summer wears on is going to be watching the tbi challenge posts that will be sticky'ed to teh top of the page. we will have regular updates and tech articles appearing with how to's and track results from different combos and mods.
two things that are true of any car taht you want to be "fast" 1. what do you consider fast? and 2. how much money have you got?

Welcome to the board, but I would start with a search. It is in the upper right hand corner. After seeing these questions over and over again most people dont even bother answering them.
go to carb.less hassle, more power.under a grand to do,and you wont regret it.carb, intake, distributor, and fuel pressure regulator.find some parts used and get it all for under 700.after that do suspension work to get the hook you WILL need, and after that do headers/full exhaust,LT1 cam, heads, and throw a 125 squirt of juice in it.youll be in the 12's on juice, low 14's,high 13's off.go to the carb board and look up TBI to carb conversion.everyone whos done it is happy with little or no regrets.
