hesitation

i dunno what you guys consider hesitation, but thats all i can call what my car is doing... like if i take off from a stop at like half to 3/4 throttle... it feels like im only gettin 10% of the power... but once it gets up in rpms the power comes back and its normal... what could cause this?

that can be caused by two things, timing and fuel. if your timing is a little late the car will feel sluggish until the table on the chip catches up to it. if your fuelk pressure is a little high it will flood the engien a bit until the engines damand catches up to the fuel being delivered. one of these is your answer if it is not detonating or breaking up or anything.

i was messing with my timing and set it with the EST connected and the computer retarded the hell out of the timing and it made it feel really sluggish like yours. didnt have any top end either...disconnected the EST and bumped the timing up....runs good now
