argh, IAT fell on exhaust

argh, IAT fell on exhaust
After doing the open element air cleaner mod, the IAT ended up falling on the exhaust, burning into both wires. I repaired the wires and got a new sensor, but the SES light is still on and the car runs like crap. Is there a fusible link or anything else I should check?
