454 tbi

hey i have a tbi unit off a 87 suburban with a 454. im planing aon bulding aeither a 383 or a 377 motor for my 90 RS. would the 454 tbi work on the motor? is it a direct bolt on? if not what do i have to do to make it work and is it worth the time to do it?

I don't know what the 454 TB's flow at but I doubt it is enough for a modified 383 or 377 motor. You might want to look into a Holley 670cfm TB unit or something higher. What is the engine hp/tq numbers? Has it been dynoed?

same shiet different maker. 454 and 670 TBIs have 2" bores. stock are 1-11/16" bores
