I ran accross a 1989 Chevy Pickup with a 454 TBI in it in the Junkyard. I think the Engine had been rebuilt and the TBI unit was in great shape. I compared it to a 350 TBI engine and it looks like it would bolt up to it. I would have to modify my manifold or Spacer in my 1990 350 TBI to make it fit. What kind of modifications would I have to make?? Is this swap really worth the time and Money?? I could have scored the TBI for $100. My main question is will this Swap work and how much work is it to get to work right?? How about the performance gains? Any replys will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

If your running a stock 350 I wouldn't do it. If you have a few mods then you might use just the tb with the 350 injectors. If you decide to use it you will also need a new intake, either a holley tbi or any fourbarrel intake with a tbi adapter would work.
