Need Some Info on Parts

Hello, Im doing some maintenance to my car and need to know some things.

I need to replace the fuel filter, I would like to get one with washable or replaceable filter, wich one would work in my car without doing modifications.

I want to replace my Air cleaner assembly I have some options.

Comp Cams Composite Aircleaner Assembly CCA-VH 308kk $43.69
Edelbrock Elite EDL-4207 $48.99
Milodon MIL-85800 $33.95
Moroso Red MOR-65901 $41.95
Proform Pro-141-307 $41.95

Some are flat based some not, some include a filter some not. If I get a flat base one I would need to remove the air filter spacer ring (between the Throttle body and the air filter) or the hood will close with it instaled (the filters are all 14x3).

If I put this kind of filter I will need the valve cover breather witch kind I should get.

I already buyed distributor cap, rotor and coil from MSD, the MSD cables part31359 work with stock exhaust manifold or they are for headers only?

Witch spark plug should I buy for my car (is completely stock)

Thanks for the help, I hope The MSD parts work great, as I plan to upgrade something in my car every month or so.

Last weekend I put a Griffin 31x19 and a B&M cooler (24k one), the goodyear hoses will work in my car with this setup?

Also to delete the A/C what I will need only the pulley thingie?

I will need to buy those stuff from summit as I cant find anything to my car locally.

To change your air cleaner you should just buy a k&n stock replacement and pull off the vacuum hose going to the metal snorkel and plug it that way your intake valve stays open and gets fresh air form the outside. Some of the TBI guys say that open elements are better but I ran mine and as soon as your engine gets hot your power will go way down, fresh air is a good thing. You might also try and find the intake off of a truck like I did. It doesn't have all that air silencing stuff so it flows alot better,it also has a lid that will alow for a 3 inch element and it has a four-five inch intake scoop.
When ordering wires for a stock motor you should look for a set that indicates a direct-fit. Jegs has MSD wires that are for a stock GM car and these should fit your car p/n 121-3183-9. If you are planning on getting headers soon then you should realize that headers require the use of 90° plug boots on all cylinders.

In what kind of truck i can find something i could use, then I would be able to use a cone filter? and put it where the battery is now?

A friend of mine have an S-10 Blazer 2001 but I dont think he will let me aproach his engine.

The truck method is a low cost solution. You can get one of these air claners off of a 87-96 full size chevy/gmc pickup. Check out www.turbocity.com or www.ramairbox.com. Turbo city has a cone type filter and ram air box lets you install a 14x3 element and cood air!
